Spiritism encompasses within its vast and magnificent scope all the transcendent elements of Spiritualism. Yet while every Spiritist is, by definition, a Spiritualist, not every Spiritualist is necessarily a Spiritist. Far from contradicting the dogmatic principles of the sacred scriptures, the Spiritist doctrine provides humanity with irrefutable evidence and such precise insights that, apart from these revelations, no true criterion of judgment is possible.

By giving tangible expression to the unseen, Spiritism establishes a link between the earthly world and the supersensible realm—that is, between the RELATIVE and the ABSOLUTE.

In the light of its clear and comprehensive synthesis, fable is relegated to the void of fiction, while truth reveals itself in all its logic, all its reality, and all its power.
